The Falls of the Ohio Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization that was established in 1987 to help create and preserve the area we know as the Falls of Ohio region.

The logo is inspired by shape of the Ohio River and the portion of it that is fondly referred to as the Falls of the Ohio. The shape of the mark itself is expressed through four lines, representing each of the surrounding areas: Clarksville, New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Louisville. The lines intersection at the State Park and their reciprocal quality reflects both the interconnectedness of the regions where the Falls creates a distinct, unifying juncture point, as well as characterizing this crossroads of nature and history, which extends outward to each of the neighboring communities.
